Is this worth it? Google Adsense for YouTube and Website

Grabe, I just looked back to my very first post . It was a short post but I was cringing from start to finish. I was still in college when I wrote it and I still remember when I started this blog, ang nasa isip ko lang talaga is to post "reviews" ng mga beauty products kasi na-inspire ako ng mga Pinay Beauty bloggers. I thought if I would do the same, may chance na ma-meet ko sila and somehow meet others too. Back then, I was not familiar with monetization, ads, and mga kung ano-ano pa. Masayang masaya na ako when this blog had its first 500 views. Di ko nga alam kung counted dun yung views ko (yup, I visit my own blog, XD). Meron din akong YouTube account na inuploadan ko ng video about sa bug ng iPad ko that time. I uploaded the video kasi, wala lang... di pa kasi ako masyado techie noon, so I didn't know kung pano ayusin yung problem. Then, I think mga 5-6 months after, naka receive ako ng email from Youtube na since my video "was doing well"

Exchanging coins to paper bill in the Philippines.

If you remember 2016, you would think of different challenges that trended all through the year. One of the challenges was the 20-50 day pesos challenge where you have to save your money every week for a whole year. Early, in 2017, there were a lot of “success” stories that were featured in the news showing their savings up to P50,000. Definitely a great way to start the year! That encouraged me and my brother to be more mindful of our money especially with our loose changes. We did not set a specific amount to put on our coin bank, we just made sure to put all our loose coins and bills aside at the end of the week. 12 months later, we counted our money, I remembered putting a couple of 1000, 500, and 100 bills in whenever I received bonuses. My brother and and spent a whole afternoon counting and sorting our coins (we even the piso-piso in an ice candy plastic >.<) and small bills. Excluding the larger bills, these coins are roughly 5,600—if our counting was accurate.

CMK Cellphones Experience

At this day and age, you can see, hear, do and even have anything you want with just a click on your mouse or better—by just tapping on your touchscreen devices. It’s already been years since online stores emerged and as convenient as they are, online scams also became rampant. Thanks to online networking sites where people can easily express their experience on online shopping, consumers can become more aware of legitimate sites or scams. As a tech fan on a budget, I try to keep up with the latest gadgets and find the best deals available. Buying on malls, especially branded shops are totally safe but you have to shell out more of your hard-earned money to buy them. Online stores are great but you have no way of knowing if you have defective products unless you pay for them and unbox it, far away from the store you bought it from. For the past years, I only visit online stores to get the price range for every gadget I buy. Recently, I decided to reward myself

Work at Home (Bizmates Experience)

Hello there! You’re probably reading this because you want to know more about working at home. I honestly don’t know if I can be a lot of help since I also just started in this line of work. I have 2 years of work experience as a Business Processor in a BPO company, then, worked as a teacher for another two tears. I also worked as a Management Trainee for a furniture company. Ang lalayo ng fields ng work ko diba? Anyway, since I resigned from my last work, I’ve been struggling with my weight and self-esteeem issues to go out and explore new career opportunities. I did not want to stay idle for too long so I tried to learn more about work at home opportunities. There are a lot of websites to get you started, but as I was struggling with myself, I was really scared to try applying for VA (Virtual Assistant) Jobs. I used to be a teacher so online tutoring seemed like the best way for me to get started. There are a lot of online English schools that stood out but I chose

Silicone Sponge

I've been using makeup since I was in college. I've tried different kinds of brushes and sponges for putting on my foundation and blushes. My HG for brushes are no doubt paddle brushes, they are soo good even the generic brush for Lazada are very effective when in comes to blending and layering. I don't find it great for blush or contouring though.  The Beauty Blender is wonderful too, absolutely all around sponge. What I don't like about it are the PRICES <too steep T.T>, and the hassle of washing it everyday and making sure of storing it in a place where it wouldn't develop mould... EWW! Recently, though, there is a new fad for sponges: the Silicone Sponge. I've seen a couple of videos and blog posts about the silicone sponges and how helpful it is for conserving foundation because it WON'T consume any of it.  I didn't buy the original SiliSponge, I just bought a P20 dupe from Shopee. I'm not sure how big of a difference the

When my MACBOOK PRO died

Image
I've had this MBP since late 2014, one day in July 2016 it just wont turn on. EVERYTHING was ok before but it just suddenly died. Some comments on the youtube video suggests that maybe I spilled water or the laptop fell or something, but NOPE. It just died. I kinda lost hope for a couple of months and just settled for my Macbook for a few weeks and when I tried opening the MBP. Viola, my laptop was working like nothing happened. Has anyone experienced something like this?

How I got my Airpods from Lazada Philippines

Image
Being an iPhone 7 user and an Apple fangirl, I've been so curious with the Airpods since its announcement last year. But due to some circumstances, you have to wait 6 weeks if you order from the Apple website. That's too long! :(( Last April 1, the Airpods became available at Lazada which said it would deliver in 3-5 days... So without too much hesitation, I ordered immediately and paid thru Paypal. The projected delivery date was Apr 4-6. Everything seemed to go smoothly but I got a little wary when Apr 6 came but there were no movements with my order. I tried to call their hotline but they can't give me a proper lead time to the point when I asked for a refund instead but NADA, they weren't able to do anything about it. I also tried to message them on FB but I was more disappointed with their answer... The best solution for me was when I emailed them on their website about my concern. I had to exchange a couple of emails with them and FINALLY I recei

Apple Airpods in the Philippines

Image
Hello there! I finally received my Apple Airpods. These set of earphones are surely hard to find here in the Philippines. Power Mac announced its arrival a few weeks back but the stocks were so limited. If you want to order it on their website, you'd have to wait 6 weeks to get it. It was really frustrating to be honest. Luckily I found a Lazada seller so I QUICKLY bought a pair. (there were a couple of hiccups before I received my order D: ) Anyway, after a few months these will be all over the PH (just like the Apple Pencil). So what do I think about the Apple Airpods? They are my absolute favorite earphones now. I had a BeatsX earphones and I loved the W1 chip and how I was able to use it seamlessly with my other Apple devices, but the pairing for Airpods is soooo much easier and faster. (o diba, mabilis na nga yung pairing sa beatsx, mas mabilis pa dito hehe) Ofcourse, as what everybody is commenting, it has to fit your ears before you can appreciate it. Luckily my

That Thing Called JAMSU

As a girl who lives in a humid country I always try to find primers, foundations or powders that would help me control the oil on my face. I can say that there are a few good products out there which can withstand the OILS of my face but honestly my wallet can't withstand them >.< So, I'm still on the hunt for new findings. There's a new fad recently about a technique which won't hurt your wallet but promises matte finish for the whole day. That is Jamsu. Jamsu means diving or submerging in Korea. I believe this technique was first used by a Japanese blogger but it became famous in Korea thus JAMSU. Steps: Prepare a sizeable bowl with cold water. Do you foundation and concealer as usual. Put an even layer of baby powder (if you have fair skin!) or your loose powder (your color tone) on your face. Submerge your face in the water for 30 secs. maybe 10-15 would be fine if you're on skin is dry. Pat the excess water from your face and continue with th

Celebrating My 25th Birthday Alone

Birthdays are meant to celebrated. It's the time of the year when we feel extra love and special. Yes, we can definitely have celebrations or parties some other days but the we don't want to be alone in our birthday. I've always been with my friends and family whenever I celebrate mine. I wanted this to be an exception. I took a little time off work, talked to my family and friends and packed my things. (Don't worry I wasn't gone too long >.<) As a people person I still wanted to be in the comfort of people's presence so I spent my entire morning lounging at my favorite cafe, turned off my wifi and started jotting a short story-- something I've always wanted to try. I realize being alone in a busy area is as relaxing as being alone in my own room. I got to see different people and how they communicated with one another. I can't stop from that though so I decided to pamper myself a little to a light shopping. The best part though is whe
