November Wellworth Shopping (daw)

Image
For the past months, I've been trying to find a good foundation. Honestly I really want to try as much product as I can because I want to know which products can work well on my face. And when I started using Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation I thought I found my perfect match. But since (I don't know, maybe?) I can't find them on Revlon counters anymore I started to go on a journey to find a good foundation again. When I strolled through Wellworth's Beauty Corner, I was really intrigued by this brand's makeup and skincare offerings plus the SA was really kind to me that I decided to try their White Grape Fresh Foundation. She advised me that this foundation is already full coverage plus also has benefits especially for oily skin like mine.  I also bought a sponge because, I'm not sure if I can use brushes effectively for foundation application. Actually I'm not really a brush person, most of my make up application are through sponges or...

YesStyle.com shopping experience

I am a long time fangirl of Majolica Majorca's puff de cheek especially its PK301 shade that's been my go-to blush when I'm in the mood to be sweet or if I want something looks natural on my cheeks. That's why I've been bummed these past few months when I finished mine and everytime I go to MM stores my shade is always not available :((( I can't find any local online shops here in the Philippines that sells MM products so I was contemplating if I'd just order from amazon and ship it here in PH (which would cost me so much). Luckily I found yesstyle.com which is primarily a site for Asian fashion... and reaaalllyyy! they have cute dresses and shoes! Good thing they also sell skincare, makeup and other accessories. I was a little scared at first though because since yesstyle is based in HongKong I don't want to get my packages on post office and pay for extra taxes that I can't understand how they are computed. But I've read from some blogs...

Ordering from Foodpanda.ph and enjoy!

From my previous post , you can see that I won vouchers for discounts at foodpanda.ph and zalora.com. Before this I haven't really had a chance ordering from foodpanda so I'm kinda confused how things are but it's actually easy. I suggest download their mobile app. 1. enter your location 2. choose any available restaurant that caters to your location 3. choose your food and place your order (don't forget your vouchers if you have any) 4. you can choose to pay via credit card or cash on delivery 5. wait for a text, e-mail and call from the restaurant confirming your order and delivery address 6. wait a little more because they're already preparing your food! 7. Enjoy! Haha! This is a nice experiment and now I'm going to enjoy a roast chicken from Chooks to Go for dinner!

BPI and Zalora Insta Prize 2

I pay all my online and store shopping with my credit card as much as I can because... well... swiping and signing are so fun! (Not so fun though when I receive my bill DX...) But when I received my bill last month I had a pleasant surprise of getting two of these wonderful thingies... :D Two vouchers that could give me a new MacBook Pro, YAY! I immediately tried my luck (even though I am very malas ) BOO! And yes, I didn't win a new laptop, but still I got these vouchers for Zalora and foodpanda. Mwahahahaha!!! (but this made me hungry so I'm ordering dinner!) :)

Green Tea for a Beautiful You Inside and Out.

Image
We often read how green tea is good for health. It acts as antioxidant, cancer prevention, immunity booster, and aids in weight loss. When I decided to go on a weight loss journey there are three things that are always consistent on showing up whenever I search the almighty internet for tips: healthy diet, daily exercise, and green tea. I was a little bit reluctant to drink green at first because I am a big fan of sweetened iced drinks. I love love love sweetened iced tea and whenever I think of drinking a brewed bitter green tea, I'm discouraged because BLEH it really doesn't suit my taste. But since I promised to discipline myself and limit my sugar intake I started with drinking just plain no taste water. A few weeks later I loved it, I don't crave for sweet drinks anymore, then I started with green tea (my mom bought a box from the grocery store because she wanted to detox but not once she drank any of the tea lol) and I enjoyed it! A few weeks later I have inc...

75lbs. Weight Loss Project

Weight Loss Journey I’ve always been a couch potato. I prefer sitting on a bench reading books rather than going out and running. I prefer being in front of my computer searching anything and everything than doing some sit-ups or stretchings. I love junkfoods and I very much prefer drinking artificially sweetened iced teas over plain water. I eat a cup of rice (or two) during meals. Very unhealthy huh? When I was young I didn’t have to concern myself over my weight, I was slim and even if I eat quite a lot, and after a few hours they’re gone. I started to really gain weight when I was in college. I guess it’s the stress of studying? Over confidence of my metabolism? I’m turning from being a dalaga to a young lady? Maybe it’s everything, and maybe if I had been a good girl and took care of myself during that period I wouldn’t be in this position right now. But that yadda yadda’s just what ifs and what nots. What’s done is done and I am who I am now because of that. ...

Online Shopping at Galleon.ph

Everything nowadays are digital, (heck even perming your hair is digital!). But there’s one thing that I can say is very enjoyable doing on the internet, it’s shopping! I started shopping online when I started to work, not because I don’t have time to go to the mall but because I find it a lot more enjoyable and cheaper to buy things on the internet. I’ve tried several sites like Lazada, Zalora, Multiply ( I still miss u! D; ) and several resellers on Facebook. Most of what I need are readily available on those sites but there are still some items that where ever I go, I can’t find them readily available here in the Philippines. So I decided to broaden my search and try to go to the almighty amazon.com . I even searched different forwarding companies like JAC, myshoppingbox, etc. to see how much I’ll spend on shipping the products here in PH. I was looking for something I really needed in the cheapest price possible so I was contemplating on buying this:  (B...

Glutatione Review: MET Tathione, Mosbeau Placenta White, Belo Nutraceuticals

Image
Oh my GOSH! It's been two years since I last updated this blog. I remember when I first started I was just a college student trying to save up my allowance and do some light reviews of my fave makeups. Well, quick update, I've graduated from college, worked for a financial BPO company and then resigned. Still no boyfriend though >.< Aaaanyway, onto the Glutathione... As a kid, I grew up being morena and was usually teased by my family because most of my cousins and brother are mestizos and mestizas. Yup, that's me and my brother way back when we were really small. See the big difference in our complexion?  Over the years I've tried using different whitening soaps, lotions, sunblocks and umbrella to the max during summer, which paid off and helped lightened my skin. I was happy because of that but, I still had problems on my skin because I regularly had cystic pimples just popping up on my face and leaves marks that I thi...
